A Mars Capital Group entity has closed a deal to acquire a blocking stake in the charter capital of Regional Overpasses Holding LLC, which implements regional infrastructure projects for the construction of overpasses and other transport infrastructure facilities via concession mechanisms and project finance.

A large-scale program implemented

An energy engineering holding — a developer, manufacturer, and supplier of next-generation power equipment. A large-scale program to improve the Holding’s financial and operational efficiency was implemented, which significantly enhanced its performance and enabled measures aimed at increasing production capacity, introducing advanced engineering solutions, and expanding the product line. The measures taken substantially increased the Holding’s attractiveness to a potential investor. In 2019, the project resulted in the Holding’s acquisition by a strategic investor.

Regional Overpasses Holding LLC is the only company in Russia with successful experience in implementing projects for the construction and operation of overpasses on regional highways. The company’s interests also extend to concession projects for toll bypasses of small towns and road bridges. The company’s activities are aligned with the national project “Safe and High-Quality Roads” and the Transport Strategy of the Russian Federation through 2030 with an outlook to 2035.
